EBAY AUCTION FOR ‘MARS ATTACKS MT. PLEASANT’ PREMIERE

SCOTTDALE, PA – An EBay auction is offering two VIP tickets to the premiere of ‘Mars Attacks Mt. Pleasant,’ a chance to mingle with the stars, plus a series of other items, including costumes worn by local cast members.

‘Mars Attacks Mt. Pleasant,’ the independent film from Tremont Avenue Productions will premiere June 19, at the same location where the final scene of the film takes place – the Geyer Performing Arts Center, 111 Pittsburgh Street.

The June 19 showing is by invitation only as a VIP event where cast, crew, media and others will see the film for the first time. The show will be open to the public beginning Friday, June 20, with two shows Thursdays through Sundays, through June 29.

The EBay auction first offers two tickets to the red carpet event, where the ticket holders will sit in the same main level section as the stars, and be able to mingle with the stars after the film. The auction also offers the winner one article of clothing, or something used by, the five main stars in the film.

The film stars Kat Post as Donna, Philip Haddad as Sam, both of Scottdale; Deborah Franzen as Doris, of Sewickley; Alex Etling as Daryl, and Jack Simon as Roland, both of Greensburg.

The auction also offers the winner a film poster signed by the stars, a copy of the DVD, and a signed book – Ron Paul Speaks – recently published by cast member Philip Haddad and director Roger Marsh.

The seven-day auction ends Friday, May 23. A portion of the EBay proceeds will be donated to the Education Department, Geyer Performing Arts Center.

The DVD will be available to the public beginning June 19 for $22 at retail locations in southwestern, Pennsylvania. Advance copies can be reserved now for $15 at the company Web site – www.dimenovel.com – but only through June 1.
